Emotional Power: You Are Safe To Show Undeserving Kindness

It can be so hard to not have the last word, the last action, or not to admit when you are wrong. Walking around thinking that everyone is against you and everyone is after to attack is so hard to live with. It’s also a dysfunctional way of living.

It can be hard to trust the relationships around us because we do not have enough trust in ourselves to make good decisions, to recognize harm or danger, to recognize that we are worthy of positive things and people in our lives. Redefining emotional power can be a hard struggle to endure and to recognize what you are doing it.

In our society, we get a adrenaline rush off gaining emotional power off of others. We feel in the present moment that we are protected especially from the ones we viewed as our “enemies” are around. It feels good to many to have leverage over others. For decades, many have fell for the story of the hero and the villain. Everyone wants to be the hero but they do not want to receive correction.

Depending on the circumstances or situations, you can either be considered as the hero or the villain. The world usual cannot see how both characters  can co-exist together. It all depends if others are aware who God really is versus viewing themselves as God in a situation.

This is what really classifies you as the hero or the villain. Here me out, someone can do what seems to be a good deed for self and others, but reality the individual could be causing more harm to self and those connected to them. There are some people that make some horrible and scary mistakes, but people tend to do so when they lack God, integrity, and care for others.

At the end of the day, no one wants to be the bad guy. No one wants to look like the person who makes a lot of mistakes. No one wants to be seen as the person who brings harm and danger to everyone.

So, we deny our actions and project our darkness on others so we can feel more better about ourselves. Once again, it seems like protection to stop ourselves from being punished. One thing I have learned about self and people is that we have less hope of being understood and more hope for being punished. It is definitely a backwards way of thinking.

When you have a winning mentality, you have no room or emotional capacity to accept that you were the bad guy in some situations. The reason being is because it goes against what you were fighting for in the first place. It could be an  advantage and  a disadvantages depending on the circumstance or situation you are facing. Sometimes you have to walk away because winning the situation will cause you to lose a spiritual battle. It take wisdom to recognize what I am saying.

Your emotional barriers stop you from accepting your wrongful actions because you fail to recognize your emotion power  of not accepting anymore darkness about yourself. People adapt to perfection because we want others to believe and want others to see the good in us instead of our flaws. We want others to see how desirable we are and can be.

I’m here to let you know that we have all been the “bad guy” in what we thought was a good situation to fight for. We made a mistakes and now it time to show others that same undeserving grace and kindness that God shows to us and others all the time. Here are four concepts  to consider when showing undeserving kindness to those who have wronged you, abused you, and lied about you because being honest you are guilty too:

1.Be Willing to Negotiate To Bring Forth Peace

Recognize that not everything needs to be a battle in your life. There are many thing that can resolved by negotiating your needs and compromise to assist someone else’s needs. I mentioned before that a lot of people seek to gain understanding  of their actions, but we fail to understand others.

This is why many tend to argue and fight. At the end of the day, you get back what you put out into people and this world. Many do not have the proper words to voice how they really feel but their actions are screaming “ Just Understand me”.

Luke‬ ‭6:35‬ ‭CEV‬‬, “But love your enemies and be good to them. Lend without expecting to be paid back. Then you will get a great reward, and you will be the true children of God in heaven. He is good even to people who are unthankful and cruel.”

Seek to understand people will help you not to judge people so much. I thought I would hate those to who hate me, but God is teaching to love those who hate me. It takes God and emotional maturity for me to love my enemies. Be undeserving kindness towards them. Why should I hurt like they hurt? Why should I hurt them more when they already wounded and hurting badly? Why should I choose more pain and love?

Facing countless sabotaging situations help you to learn love in a new way just as God has loved me with my undeserving self.  I have cut up with God just like my enemies have with me. Spare those who dish out more pain to others and yourself with prayer and not your revengeful actions. Your mind, body, soul, and spirit will thank you later!

2.Recognize Everyone You Encounter Has Something To Offer You Vice Versa

Whether you like it or not. Those who show you unkindness have some very valuable lessons to offer you. It will help you grow and those who are watching your every move. Your enemies will think they are doing themselves a favor but destroying you. Many times people destroy the very person, who can help them solve a problem. When you are wounded within everyone is your target enemy because contamination within.

Since God is on your side, your enemies are doing you more good to than harm. They are teaching you how rely on God more, which will cause you to shine more due your obedience. You are leader and your enemies will reveal to yourself and them how to lead properly.

Since, Christians tend to have a bad name that we do not know how to submit properly. God will show the unjustified how to submit properly even if you are not in a leading title. True leaders are always in position especially when they can act in submission humbly.

1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:12-15, 17-18, 20-24‬ ‭CEV‬‬, “My friends, we ask you to be thoughtful of your leaders who work hard and tell you how to live for the Lord. Show them great respect and love because of their work. Try to get along with each other. My friends, we beg you to warn anyone who isn’t living right. Encourage anyone who feels left out, help all who are weak, and be patient with everyone. Don’t be hateful to people, just because they are hateful to you. Rather, be good to each other and to everyone else.  Always be joyful and Never stop praying. Whatever happens, keep thanking God because of Jesus Christ. This is what God wants you to do. Don’t turn away God’s Spirit or ignore prophecies. Put everything to the test. Accept what is good and don’t have anything to do with evil. I pray that God, who gives peace, will make you completely holy. And may your spirit, soul, and body be kept healthy and faultless until our Lord Jesus Christ returns. The one who chose you can be trusted, and he will do this.”

God will teach you that those who you are familiar with and enjoy being with is not only ones who can offer you something valuable in life. Those who show you no kindness can too because they reveal and sharpened up the areas you are weaken in.

Reason being is because their job is reveal how weak you are in Christ. Since, we serve a healing and resurrection God. He will make our mistake work out for our good for the purpose of him! God shine through the rough spots in us so we can shine his light with our actions and demeanor.

‭‭3. Mental Judgement Will Always attract the Lesson You Need To Learn

You attract what you are and what you think like. Those who I have judged so badly in the past, I recognized that I carry the same flaws they carry. God placed me in front of those letting me know it was time to change.

I’m guilty of hiding my flaws instead of being honest myself and admitting I did wrong without making a excuse for my behavior. The reason being was I did not want to look the what…? “The bad guy”. Yes, you got it right! When you are use to hearing what was wrong with you. You cannot stand to hear anymore wrong that you do. So you deny to protect your mental capacity.

2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:16-18‬ ‭CEV‬‬, “We are careful not to judge people by what they seem to be, though we once judged Christ in this way. Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person. The past is forgotten, and everything is new. God has done it all! He sent Christ to make peace between himself and us, and he has given us the work of making peace between himself and others.”

If you take away judgement, you will begin to recognize that you are no different from the person you have judge. No matter how evil or wicked their actions, beliefs, or behavior maybe. When you belong to Christ, you are made free spiritually.

You now have true access to be who you born to be. No one was born to be evil and promote evil things. It’s just that life gets in the way and we believe there is no better way then to harms others the way that others have chosen to do. Judging others stops unity and it stops you from seeing the good in others. The reason being because many are stuck on the fact they were never understood or protected when they needed to be.

4.God Will Humble You Through the Attacks From Your Enemies

All the obstacles that you have faced were meant to build you up. They come to prove to you who you are in Christ, how powerful Christ really is, and show how resilient you really are.

The interesting thing is that too many have gotten comfortable with drama, trauma, pain, and defeat that we have giving up. There is no need to give up because God never gives up on us. NEVER! He will show based on the battles you face.

He will deepen your faith to let you know it is ok to be kind to those who need prayer and deliverance more than anything. Since, God is in control. He is in control of every part of his life. He even chosen who will try to attack us.

1 Peter‬ ‭5:10-11‬ ‭CEV‬‬, “But God shows undeserved kindness to everyone. That’s why he appointed Christ Jesus to choose you to share in his eternal glory. You will suffer for a while, but God will make you complete, steady, strong, and firm. God will be in control forever! Amen.”

Those who throw stones at others are hurting individuals, who grew tired of seeking good in themselves and others. They resulted to evil because that was what they were surrounded by and consumed by. Not knowing there was a savior (Jesus)  to take care of that!

While, it may feel good to treat others with the same pain they caused you. You are doing more harm to yourself and others due to karma!

Christians have gotten a bad rep because we are not humble in places where we need to be. So, God will use our enemies to teach how to shut our mouths, not to brag, to be more patience, kind, gentle, not to judge so quickly, and  be more loving in ways God needs us be.

At the end of the day, I have to think of those who I believe don’t deserve my kindness as unhealed little problem kid. I have to imagine this as a kid so I know they are still a working progress, which is the way God see us. So I can focus on the little innocence that’s left in a person.

Those who work with kids know that the kid that give you most issues needs more attention and love. Guess what, those problem adults need the same thing. So pray for them to receive more healing and peace in their lives. We all have to live together on this  earth why not pray for those who should  see God and love for all.

No matter how different, weird, or wicked we all can  be. Think of this way, you would want others to pray and save you if you were battling too. Right? If you know better, you do better. It is also your job introduce others to a better way of living. Not everyone know a better way like you do. Trust God that he will fight your battles as you show undeserving kindness to those who need it the most.

Galatians‬ ‭6:10‬ ‭CEV‬‬,”We should help people whenever we can, especially if they are followers of the Lord.”
